The Active Lives Survey is designed to measure participation in sport and leisure activities across the whole of society.
It is important to us that everyone is able to complete the survey and to feel your answers are included, and that your data can be used to help various government agencies.
They may use the data to decide how to fund projects and organisations that will benefit local communities including disabled people.
The Active Lives Survey aims to be as accessible as possible for all respondents.
This includes ensuring that:
- Content is written and structured using accessible language
- The online questionnaire is designed in a way that makes it easier for people to adjust colour contrasts and increase font size.
- Providing a video with key FAQs translated into British Sign Language
- Providing content in alternative formats and languages as and when required.
The BBC page My Web My Way has useful advice explaining how you can alter your web browser settings to help make it more accessible.
